Dear Erie Countians,

Erie Countian’s need to demand more and expect the utmost in accountability and transparency from their elected leadership.

Erie County is not Washington D.C. and we should not ever come to expect D.C. style debts and deficits.

Fiscal sanity must prevail if you expect to have a future where we would all like to live.

Present leadership, all democrats, all respected in the community, all well dressed, and all good orators, all fine people, need to quit pointing fingers at others, and start taking responsibility.

Despite what you may of heard, my name is Steve Kraus, and I am the sole Conservative and sole Republican running for Tom Ferrell’s county commissioner’s seat.

Ferrell, Hartung, and Brady are all registered Democrats.

They are more of the same.  I am the change, I am the accountability, and I am the responsibility, I believe our county needs and deserves.

I hope you can believe in a change that brings with it a bright future rather than sticking with the status quo that has provided us with depressed economy.

I believe in a small government that lets you keep more of your hard earned money, I don’t believe in a big government that creates jobs, but rather, a small one that provides an atmosphere for job creation in the private sector. I do not believe in bloated budgets, high taxes, and crony capitalism, and I believe, for those that pay attention, that the people have lost faith in a three man commission’s ability to do the right thing.

A vote for Steve Kraus this November is a vote to restore faith, respect, and dignity to County leadership.

Remember to vote early and remember to Vote Kraus!
